The idea Behind Travovac
As children, we dreamed time and again of becoming scientists, teachers or doctors. Still, some of our Precious memories were made while visiting new places. Long before we even knew the terms “traveler” or “explorer.” That passion for exploration planted the seed for something bigger. As I grew older, I realized that my passion for travel could be more than a hobby. It set me on the path to building a career out of my passion. Exploring new destinations, meeting people from different walks of life and sharing unforgettable experiences—that’s what fuels my journey.
Today, the travel industry is booming, it still faces gaps: unorganized itineraries, agent-led plans lacking transparency and a lack of genuine connection. I saw an opportunity for change—a fresh, youthful approach centered around openness, trust and community. With that vision, I set out to build a travel company for New-age explorers. Whether it’s leading treks into the mountains or curating unique cultural experiences, my mission is simple: to make travel more personal, more meaningful with lots of unforgettable memorable.

Umer, A visionary travelpreneur, fun-loving explorer and seasoned travel expert, our founder brings a deep passion for the breathtaking landscapes of Kashmir and Ladakh.
With over 4 years of experience in the travel industry, he has successfully led more than 50 high-energy biking community trips through the rugged terrain of Ladakh and over 100 unforgettable community trips across the charming valleys of Kashmir, accompanied by an amazing group of travel explorers from all over India.
His expertise combines hands-on experience in the field with a solid academic foundation—holding Master’s degrees in both Agriculture and Tourism. His deep love for each destination and respect for local cultures make every trip meaningful and memorable. By closely collaborating with local communities, he ensures that every traveler gains authentic insights while contributing positively to the places they visit.
Junaid
Co-Founder
Junaid, our co-founder and the spark that brings energy and excitement to every trip. With a deep love for the mountains and a passion for people, he has successfully led numerous group trips across the stunning landscapes of Ladakh and Kashmir and Manipur. His years of experience and natural leadership ensure every traveler feels safe, cared for and part of a big travel family.
For him, travel isn’t just about exploring places—it’s about connecting with people, living the moment and sharing the magic of the road. He leads Travovac with heart, experience and a shared dream: to build a travel community that feels like home—where every journey is unforgettable.
Emm Dee
Our Transporter
Emm Dee is our main transport vendor at Travovac and an important part of our team. He has been in the transport business for over 6 years and knows the roads of Ladakh and Kashmir like the back of his hand. Whether it’s a group trip to the mountains or a smooth airport pickup, Emm Dee, also known as Meharaj Din always makes sure everything runs on time and safely.
His drivers are experienced, polite and reliable—just like him. Thanks to Emm Dee, our travelers always feel comfortable and secure on the road.
